Zurab Zedginidze has 16 years of surgical experience in the treatment of surgical pathologies of the abdominal and thoracic organs, using both open and minimally invasive methods. He has performed more than 1,500 operations on the organs of the abdominal and thoracic cavities.
Zurab Zedgenidze was the first in Georgia to perform the HIPEC hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy procedure using CO₂.
Zurab Zedginidze is a principal investigator and co-investigator in eight international clinical studies on lung cancer and surgical infections.

- Biopsy of mediastinal tumors and lymph nodes, both by needle under computed tomography guidance and by thoracoscopic method;
