Our clinic is the only one in Georgia that has implemented the clinical practice of a Medical Oncologist. A medical oncologist is a doctor of the therapeutic profile, which is the main control specialist of cancer treatment. The medical oncologist is a central figure, who treats patients with neoplastic disease and coordinates all other treatment.
Diagnosis and treatment planning take place in the way of Concilium, where each patient's treatment is discussing with an individual and multidisciplinary approach.
The Concilium involves five specialists:
- Medical Oncologist
- Surgeon
- Radiation Therapist
- Radiologist
